The HFVC are thrilled to be given funding from The Big Lottery Fund to deliver ten Human Libraries across Hammersmith and Fulham.

The Human Library™ is designed to build a positive framework for conversations that can challenge stereotypes, discrimination, stigma and prejudices through dialogue.

The Human Library is a place where real people are on loan to readers. A place where difficult questions are expected, appreciated and answered.

Book titles aim to challenge people’s perceptions/stereotypes and examples of available titles might include… Get involved: We are looking to recruit individuals to be Books. This can be for just one 2-3 hour library session or several. Training will provided and travel expenses paid.
